ZIMBABWE EVENING WEATHER REPORT AND FORECAST ISSUED AT 1600 HRS ON SATURDAY 30 APRIL 2022 VALID UNTIL MONDAY 02 MAY 2022.

PREAMBLE

It was mostly cool under clear skies throughout the country this morning. Slight frost was experienced at Matopos and Rusape. Meanwhile, pressure is rising over the eastern coast of South Africa.

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW, SUNDAY 01 APRIL 2022

I should be cloudy, windy and cool over Matabeleland South, Masvingo, south of Midlands and Manicaland Provinces with chances of patchy drizzle becoming mild as the day progresses.

It is anticipated to be partly cloudy and mild over all other areas with a chance of light afternoon showers.

IMPACTS

  • Temperature fluctuations between night and day may affect the body’s health, with asthma and other respiratory-related illnesses being common.

ACTIONS TO TAKE

  • Please ensure that vulnerable members of society are kept warm during these wintry nights.
  • Poultry producers should note that broilers are sensitive to temperature variations and therefore need to be checked regularly and adjustments made.
