Zimbabwe Weather Report & Forecast: 23 To 25 March 2022

Weather report and forecast issued by the Meteorological Services Department in conjunction with the Department of Civil Protection.

PREAMBLE

Brief cloudy periods were experienced over Manicaland, Harare Metropolitan and all Mashonaland Provinces yesterday into today.

This morning, light drizzle occurred at Chipinge. It was mostly sunny and warm in the remainder of the country yesterday.

Meanwhile, a cloud band is slowly drifting into all Matabeleland Provinces from Botswana.

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW THURSDAY 24 MARCH 2022

It should be cloudy and warm with isolated thundershowers in Matabeleland North, northern areas of Midlands, Harare Metropolitan and the northern parts of Manicaland. It is expected to be mild in the morning.

All other areas (Matabeleland South, Bulawayo Metropolitan, southern parts of Midlands, Masvingo and the southern areas of Manicaland) are expected to be mostly sunny and warm though mild in the morning.

  • Kariba: Partly cloudy with isolated thunder-showers (Temperatures – 15/26)
  • Great Zimbabwe: Mostly sunny and warm (Temperatures – 15/32)
  • Nyanga: Partly cloudy with isolated thunder-showers (Temperatures – 11/29)
  • Vumba:  Mostly sunny and warm (Temperatures – 14/30)
  • Matopos: Mostly sunny and warm (Temperatures – 14/31)
  • Chimanimani: Mostly sunny and warm (Temperatures – 15/30)

OUTLOOK: WEATHER FORECAST FOR FRIDAY 25 MARCH 2022

It should be cloudy and warm with isolated thundershowers in Matabeleland North, Matabeleland South, Bulawayo Metropolitan, northern areas of Midlands, all Mashonaland Provinces and Harare Metropolitan.

Mostly sunny and warm conditions are expected over southern parts of Midlands, Masvingo and Manicaland Provinces. It should be mild both morning and evening throughout the country.
