Zimbabwe Weather Report & Forecast: 20 To 22 March 2022

Weather report and forecast issued by the Meteorological Services Department in conjunction with the Department of Civil Protection.

PREAMBLE

Isolated thunderstorms occurred in Matabeleland North, Mashonaland West and Mashonaland Central while in Mashonaland East, Harare Metropolitan and Manicaland provinces mostly cloudy and cool conditions with patchy rain and drizzle were experienced yesterday.

Rainfall above 10mm was measured at Karoi (21mm). In the remaining provinces, it was partly cloudy and mild.

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW MONDAY 21 MARCH 2022

It is expected to be partly cloudy and mild with a gentle breeze in Matabeleland South, Bulawayo Metropolitan, southern parts of Midlands, Masvingo, and Manicaland provinces.

It should be partly cloudy and warm with chances of isolated showers in Matabeleland North, Mashonaland West, northern parts of Midlands, Mashonaland Central, and Harare Metropolitan provinces.

  • Kariba: Partly cloudy with isolated thunder-showers (Temperatures – 22/31)
  • Great Zimbabwe: Partly cloudy, windy and mild (Temperatures – 12/25)
  • Nyanga: Partly cloudy, windy and mild (Temperatures – 10/19)
  • Vumba:  Partly cloudy, windy and mild (Temperatures – 12/24)
  • Matopos: Partly cloudy, windy and mild (Temperatures – 14/24)
  • Chimanimani: Partly cloudy, windy and mild (Temperatures – 13/23)

OUTLOOK: WEATHER FORECAST FOR TUESDAY 22 MARCH 2022

Mostly sunny conditions should prevail in Matabeleland South, Bulawayo Metropolitan, southern parts of Midlands, Masvingo and Manicaland provinces.

All other provinces are forecast to be partly cloudy and warm with a chance of isolated showers.
