The cloud system that is affecting the country resulted in scattered light thunderstorms across the country with notable falls in Chisumbany which recorded 12mm. Meanwhile. the cloud system is expected to intensify.

Cloudy conditions are expected across the country. Widespread thundershowers with heavier falls (exceeding 30mm) in some places especially along the main watershed and in the eastern highlands are highly likely.
