Zimbabwe Weather Report & Forecast: 13 To 15 April 2022

The weather report and forecast issued by the Meteorological Services Department in conjunction with the Department of Civil Protection at 4 PM on Wednesday 13 April 2022 valid until Friday 15 April 2022.

PREAMBLE

Remnant moisture over the northern areas resulted in isolated thundershowers in parts of Harare Metropolitan, Mashonaland Central, Midlands and northern parts of Manicaland Provinces.

Meanwhile, a cloud band is drifting from Botswana into the western areas of the country through all Matabeleland Provinces.

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW THURSDAY 14 APRIL 2022

Brief cloudy and warm conditions with isolated thundershowers are anticipated in all Matabeleland Provinces, Bulawayo Metropolitan, Midlands, all Mashonaland Provinces, Harare Metropolitan and northern parts of Manicaland Province.

Mostly sunny and warm conditions are expected over Masvingo and southern parts of Manicaland Provinces. It should be mild both morning and evening throughout the country.

IMPACTS

  • Lighting may still strike from a distant cloud, even when the sky overhead is clear.

Both Matabeleland Provinces, Bulawayo Metropolitan, Midlands, all Mashonaland Provinces, Harare Metropolitan and northern parts of Manicaland Province should experience brief cloudy and warm conditions with isolated thundershowers.

Mostly sunny and warm conditions are expected over Masvingo and southern parts of Manicaland Provinces.

It is expected to be mild both morning and evening throughout the country.
