The Meteorological Services Department of Zimbabwe has issued a weather report and forecast for the period 29 April to 01 May 2022. We present the report and forecast below:

PREAMBLE

ZIMBABWE WEATHER REPORT AND FORECAST ISSUED AT 1600 HRS ON FRIDAY 29 APRIL 2012 VALID UNTIL SUNDAY 01 MAY 2022,

It was briefly cloudy over most parts of the country yesterday. drizzle occurred this morning over Masvingo, Midlands, Manicaland and Harare metropolitan.

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW SATURDAY 30 APRIL 2022

It should be briefly cloudy and cool in the morning becoming warm by the afternoon over Harare Metropolitan, Mashonaland West and Mashonaland Central Provinces. It is expected to be sunny and warm over all other areas.

IMPACTS

• Temperature fluctuations between night and day may affect the body’s health, asthma and other respiratory-related illnesses being common.

ACTIONS TO TAKE

• Please ensure that vulnerable members of society are kept warm during these wintry nights.

• Poultry producers should note that broilers are sensitive to temperature variations and therefore need to be checked regularly and adjustments made.
