Zimbabwe Weather Report And Forecast: 25 - 26 February 2022

ZIMBABWE EVENING WEATHER REPORT AND FORECAST ISSUED AT 1600 HRS FRIDAY 25 FEBRUARY 2022 VALID UNTIL SATURDAY 26 FEBRUARY 2022.

Isolated thunderstorms occurred in much of Mashonaland Provinces into northern parts of Manicaland, Harare Metropolitan as well as the northern parts of Midlands. Significant falls were recorded at Logan Park(70mm), Henderson (64mm), Concession(45mm), Royal Harare Golf Club(28mm), Mutoko (25mm), Macheke(22mm) and Belvedere( 21mm).

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW SATURDAY 26 FEBRUARY 2022

All Mashonaland Provinces and Harare Metropolitan Province should be briefly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers. The rest of the country is expected to be mostly sunny and hot though mild in the morning.

• Thunder and Lightning may affect your plans. please plan with the weather in mind.

• Lightning may still strike from a distant cloud. even when the sky overhead is clear

ACTIONS TO TAKE

• When thunder roars. it is best to be indoors. If outdoors please find shelter immediately: do not shelter under trees or in an isolated shed.

• Do not cross flooded rivers and swollen streams whether on foot or in a vehicle as just 30cm of flowing water is enough to sweep away a vehicle.

• Keep hydrated, especially during the daytime.
