Zimbabwe Reaches Last 16 Of Hockey Women's Junior World Cup 2021

Zimbabwe’s Under 21 Ladies Hockey team has reached the last 16 of the Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup 2021.

The tournament is being held in Potchefstroom, South Africa from the 5th -16th of December 2021. 

Zimbabwe and South Africa are the only African teams remaining in the competition.

The U-21 Ladies Squad competed in the Junior Africa Cup, in Windhoek, Namibia at the end of August 2021. The two top teams at the tournament qualified for the Junior World Cup.

Zimbabwe is in Pool A along with the Netherlands, Korea and Ireland.

Meanwhile, the Ladies Team will participate at the Africa Cup of Nations, in Accra, Ghana from the 17th -23rd January 2022.
