Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report issued by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 31 March 2022:
- 104 New Cases (All local) and 4 Death reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases falls to 117 from 141 (yesterday).
- Vaccination Update: 121 906 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 5 293 189, 10 646 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 529 646 while 33 901 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3rd dose to 370 287.
- Today we are happy to report that 121 906 people county-wide received their 1st dose bringing the cumulative doses to 5 293 189.
- As of 30 March 2022, @1500hrs there were (33) hospitalized cases: New Admissions (7), Asymptomatic (7), mild to moderate (25), severe (2) and (0) in Intensive Care Units. 10 of the 33 hospitalized were vaccinated and 23 were not vaccinated.
- 3 353 tests were done today (Positivity today was (4.2%)
- 246 new recoveries: National Recovery rate remains at 96% & Active cases go down 2 566.
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 246 285 Cases 238 276 recoveries & 5 444 Deaths.
