Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Update: 17 November 2021

Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 17 November 2021:
- 52 New Cases (All local) and 1 Death were reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases fall to 36 from 38 (yesterday). (21) of these cases were detected in outbreaks in schools in Masvingo (10), Mash East (6) and Mat South (5).
- Vaccination Update: 32 680 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 3 546 966 while 7 079 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 2 720 058 as at 1600 hrs.
- As of 16 November 2021, 1500hrs there were 13 hospitalised cases: New Admissions (2), Asymptomatic 0, mild to moderate 10, severe 2 and 1 in Intensive Care Units.
- 2 841 tests done today (Positivity today was 1.8%)
- 34 new recoveries: National Recovery rate rise to 96% & Active cases go up to 487.
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 133 557 Cases 128 371 recoveries & 4 699 Deaths.
