Zimbabwe Coronavirus / COVID-19 Update: 17 March 2022
Zimbabwe first recorded Coronavirus cases in March 2020. Since then, thousands of people have been diagnosed with the respiratory disease, thousands have died and also thousands have recovered.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) reported that the Southern African country had as of 17 March 2022 recorded a total of 244 012 confirmed cases, including 233 461 recoveries and 5 420 deaths.
Also, a total of 4 409 406 people had been vaccinated against COVID-19.
New cases recorded: 362 of which 52 were in schools.
New deaths recorded: 2
