Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report issued by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 12 April 2022:
- 84 New Cases (All local and 0 Deaths reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases falls to 50 from 57 (yesterday).
- Vaccination Update: 19 578 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 5 747 905, 3 378 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 600 980 while 7 592 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3rd dose to 547 429.
- As of 11 April 2022, @1500hrs there were (22) hospitalized cases: New Admissions (4), Asymptomatic (1), mild to moderate (15), severe (0) and (6) in Intensive Care Units. 7 of the 22 hospitalized were vaccinated and 15 were not vaccinated.
- 3 319 tests were done today (Positivity today was 3.1%)
- 84 new recoveries: National Recovery rate remains at 97% & Active cases remain at 1 054.
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 247 094 Cases 240 584 recoveries & 5 460 Deaths.
