Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report issued by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 11 March 2022:
- 521 New Cases (All local) and 4 Deaths were reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases falls to 476 from 491 (yesterday). 63 of the new cases reported today are from outbreaks detected from schools in Man (26), Mash East (19), Masvingo (8), Mash Cent (6) and Bulawayo (4).
- Vaccination Update: 4 352 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 4 390 563, 4 627 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 422 802 while 4 241 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3rd dose to 156 444.
- As of 9 March 2022, @1500hrs there were (64) hospitalised cases: New Admissions (8), Asymptomatic (5), mild to moderate (54), severe (5) and (0) in Intensive Care Units.
- 4 859 tests done today (Positivity today was 10.7%)
- 426 new recoveries: National Recovery rate remains at 96% & Active cases go up 5 219
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 242 069 Cases 231 438 recoveries & 5 412 Deaths.
