Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report issued by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 07 March 2022:
- 501 New Cases (All local) and 0 Death reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases raises to 475 from 462 (yesterday). 136 of the new cases reported today are from outbreaks detected from schools in Mash East (41), Mash West (39) Manicaland (27), Mash Central (14), Mat North (9) and Masvingo (6).
- Vaccination Update: 1 846 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 4 375 583, 1 596 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 409 575 while 1 521 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3rd dose to 141 773.
- As of 6 March 2022, @1500hrs there were (70) hospitalised cases: New Admissions (6), Asymptomatic (9), mild to moderate (53), severe (4) and (4) in Intensive Care Units.
- 4 343 tests done today (Positivity today was 12%)
- 439 new recoveries: National Recovery rate remains at 96% & Active cases go up 5 128
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 239 710 Cases 229 183 recoveries & 5 399 Deaths.
