Zimbabwe Coronavirus / COVID-19 Update: 04 May 2022

Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report issued by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 04 May 2022:

• 60 New Cases (All local) and 1 Death reported today. (7-day rolling overage’ for new cases remains at 46 as (yesterday).

• Vaccination Update: 2 593 received the1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 5 872 486, 7 913 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 691 886 while 2 302 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3 rd dose to 611 199.

• As of 03 May 2022, @1500hrs there were (26) hospitalized cases: New Admissions (3), Asymptomatic (0), mild to moderate (24), severe (0) and (2) in Intensive Care Units. 15 of the 26 hospitalized were vaccinated and 11 were not vaccinated.

• 1 863 tests done today (Positivity today was 3.2 %)
