Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 04 February 2022:
• 165 New Cases (All local) and 3 Deaths reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases falls to 143 from 153 (yesterday).
• Vaccination Update: 5 814 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 4 287 719; 5 169 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 316 373 while 2 836 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3rd dose to 65 614.
• As of 3 February 2012, @1500hrs there were 55 hospitalised cases: New Admissions (15), Asymptomatic 3, mild to moderate 46, severe 6 and 0 in Intensive Care Units.
• 3 301 tests done today (Positivity today was 5%).
• 468 new recoveries: National Recovery rate rises to 96% & Active cases go down 4 152
• As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 230 335 Cases 220 823 recoveries & 5 360 Deaths.
