The ZANU PF Harare Province Youth League says it intends to secure 1.5 million votes for the party in the 2023 general elections.
In an interview on the sidelines of the Youth League’s inter-district meeting held at the party’s headquarters in Harare on Saturday, provincial youth chairperson Emmanuel Mahachi said they have already launched their campaign for the general elections. Said Mahachi:
As the Harare Province Youth League, we have launched our 2023 general election campaign.
At the just-ended Congress, we chose President Mnangagwa as our sole candidate for the 2023 elections.
We are excited to be officially launching our campaign for President Mnangagwa and we are now geared for the elections as ZANU PF Harare Province Youth League.
As a party, we are working towards mobilising people to secure five million votes and, as the Harare Province Youth League, we are targeting to mobilise people to get 1.5 million votes.
He said district executives should go down to the cell level to ensure that the youths are registered to vote.
