ZANU PF officials reportedly stormed the funeral of murdered CCC activist Moreblessing Ali in Nyatsime on Sunday and demanded that mourners should leave the place and go to St Mary’s instead.
According to the Ali family lawyer, Job Sikhala, the ZANU PF MP for Seke Rural identified as Maoresa and the Councillor, Masimbi, allegedly demanded that Moreblessing’s funeral should be held in St Mary’s and not at her Nyatsime home. Said Sikhala:

There is a commotion at Mobby’s funeral. Vanhu veZanu vauya, vari kuita noise isingaiti. Vauya naMaoresa anova MP weSeke Rural naCllr wavo anonzi Masimbi. Vari kuti nhamo ngaiende ku St Marys ibve kuNyatsime. (ZANU PF members have arrived and they have stirred a great commotion. They have come with Maoresa who is the MP for Seke Rural and the Councillors, Masimbi. They are saying the funeral should be held at St Mary’s, and should be moved from Nyatsime.
Ali was abducted by suspected ZANU PF activists on 24 May only for his mutilated remains to be retrieved from a well in Manyame on 11 June.
