Zambia's Late Former President Rupiah Banda Laid To Rest

Zambia's Late Former President Rupiah Banda Laid To Rest

Zambia’s fourth President, Rupiah Banda, has been laid to rest at the country’s Presidential Burial Site in Lusaka.

The burial was attended by close family, former and current Presidents of the Republic who all described the late Banda as a humble soul who was an inspiration to all. It was also attended by foreign leaders.

Banda succumbed to cancer last week Friday aged 85.

President Hakainde Hichilema declared seven days of mourning in honour of the Zimbawean-born former Zambian President.

In his tribute at the state funeral held this Thursday President Hichilema gave credit to the late Banda for shunning segregation based on divergent views.

He added that the late Banda could create a calm atmosphere even when there was tension while urging young people to learn from freedom fighters and foster socio-economic development.

Among foreign leaders who attended the state funeral held at the Showgrounds in Lusaka this Thursday were President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Namibian President Hage Geingob, former Malawian President Bakili Muluzi, former Mozambican President Joachim Chissano and former Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete.

You CCC clowns surprise me, so you think you have the Monopoly to air views on social media. In a democracy you have to learn to accept divergent views. This platform would become monotonous if you CCC ****s are left to agree on everything you say. Hapana chamunodzidza. Anyway we are here to stay, to correct you when you go wrong since we are your elders. Haungarasi mwana nekuti amamira mupamper, unokugezesa womudzidzisa kuitira **** mutoilet.

Gentleman I think we must impose sanctions to the likes of Vybz Kartel,Tkt/maFyt,Shadows,Jah🇿🇼Tsvarie Chahototo and company. Those targeted sanctions must be as follows.
1)To avoid communication and responding to people like Vbyz Kartel, let there comments remain idle.
2)Avoid naming them in our comments as this seems to be giving them much confidence to abuse the Citizens.
3)Strictly don't respond to their folly, ZANU pf commenting guys don't have educative ideas. They promote hatred and tribalism amoung Citizens.
4)Lets not make them famous, from now on they must taste their medicine and feel the heat of these targeted sanctions.
5)We are a civilized Citizens with a vision of a bright future, so we must eliminate the Jannes and Jembres who want to drive us back to Egypt.Lets not entertain the devils.

Thank you, and share this massage if possible to other commentary sections.
