*Job Description*
The Simba International School is an independent school based in Domboshava, Harare. The school offers a Christian environment to families who want an excellent, inspirational education. A vacancy has arisen for a Grade 3 teacher to assist in continuous learning among Simba International school children. The incumbent will have the opportunity to give learners the best learning opportunities possible through design and innovation to foster their cognitive, physical, and social/emotional development.

Reporting To: Executive Head of Simba International School
Location: Domboshava
Contract Type: Short Term
*Duties and Responsibilities*

Teaching according to the philosophy of education using 21st century skills, in a teaching methodology and curriculum of Zimbabwe.
Maintaining an optimal classroom atmosphere.
Proactive character formationUsing a wide range of resources, including sport and art.
To head and manage the school daily activities.
Compile academic and weekly reports.
To plan daily lesson plans for lesson facilitation.
Deliver lessons and engage learners in active hands-on creative problem-based learning.
To evaluate learners’ performance in an objective and timely manner.
To work collaboratively with other staff and stakeholders.
*Qualifications and Experience*

Diploma in Primary EducationGood communication, report writing and presentation skills.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Packages
Must have working knowledge of online training and learning management.
Must have working knowledge of online training or learning management systems.
Mature ability to self-manage
