In a statement on Friday, 28 October 2022, ZLHR announced the winners of the competition. It said: > We are grateful to the markers of our National Schools Essay Writing Competition seen in this picture with the winners: Natalie Ndlovu of Zwangendaba Secondary School in Lupane, Charity Mashasha of Gwanda High School in Gwanda, Blessed Masunga of Hama High School in Chirumhanzu,Lowrence Moyo of Kutama Day High School, Tanatswa Chafesuka of Chifamba High School & Adelaide Sithole of Segonda College in Goromonzi. When ZLHR launched the competition, it said the national winner will pocket US$150.
