GMB chief executive Rockie Mutenha told The Herald that nearly 128 000 tonnes of maize have been delivered, but more farmers were still delivering. Mutenha also said farmers have so far delivered 24 026 tonnes of traditional grains to GMB. He, however, urged farmers to work together with GMB officers stationed at each depot to improve moisture content as some maize was being delivered with a lot of moisture.
