*Zemura To Play "Next Couple Of Games" For Cherries Before AFCON Finals* https://www.pindula.co.zw/2021/12/24/zemura-to-play-next-couple-of-games-for-cherries-before-afcon-finals/?article Bournemouth manager Scott Parker said that he was still in the dark when Warriors defender Jordan Zemura would depart for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals. The competition is set to start in just 16 days (9 January to be precise) but Zimbabwe could be banned from the competition. This is because the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) is currently suspended by a Zimbabwean government body – the Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC). ---------- *Latest itel A70* - now available on Pindula 128GB storage, 8GB RAM *$89 Cash on Delivery.* _We deliver in Harare and Bulawayo everyday between 9am and 4pm_ also available on Zero Deposit to Civil Servants and Pensioners. WhatsApp: 0️⃣7️⃣7️⃣2️⃣ 4️⃣6️⃣4️⃣ 0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ ---------- FIFA has demanded that the SRC relinquish control of ZIFA by 3 January, or else FIFA will have no choice but to ban Zimbabwe from international games. Parker revealed that he has spoken to Zemura about the AFCON finals and is sure that he will play at least one game for the cherries before his departure. Said, Parker: _I’ve spoken to Jordan regarding the African Cup of Nations. I’ve not spoken or heard of anything Zimbabwe not being in [the competition.]_ _At this moment of time, he is planning to go away. We’ve still not had full confirmation of when that would be._ _I suspect he will be eligible for the next couple of games, or certainly the next game._ _Moving on from here I’m not 100 per cent sure, but that’s where we stand at the moment._ The competition is set to take place between 9 January and 6 February across several venues in Cameroon. Meanwhile, two of the host cities – Limbe and Garoua – have been labelled by the UK government as areas where they advise against all but essential travel due to security reasons. However, none of Zimbabwe’s scheduled Group games against Senegal, Malawi and Guinea is based in these cities. The Warriors’ first two games against Senegal and Malawi are to be played at the Kouekong Stadium in Bafoussam, with their last fixture to be played against Guinea in the capital of Yaounde. *More: Daily Echo* *Featured Products* *Follow our Pindula Channel on:* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v
