In a statement on Saturday, national police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi has appealed for information that may lead to the recapture of the 12 escapees. WhatsApp: 0️⃣7️⃣7️⃣2️⃣ 4️⃣6️⃣4️⃣ 0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ ---------- _The Zimbabwe Republic Police warns members of the public against intentionally spreading the COVID-19 pandemic to unsuspecting relatives, peers and the general public._ _This follows the escaping of twelve COVID-19 positive inmates from Beitbridge Border Quarantine Centre on 17 December 2021._ _The Zimbabwe Republic Police is therefore looking for the listed twelve inmates who were deported from South Africa and held following the Government’s COVID-19 health protocols._ _They then escaped from the quarantine centre in unclear circumstances._ _The suspects are Danis Chikora (36) of Madondo Prutch, Chief Nhema, Masvingo, Takunda Makuvaro (44) of Makuvaro Village, Chief Negove, Masvingo, Cephas Dube (25) of Chipanga Village, Chief Chiwande, Chipinge, Nonhlanhla Dlamini (19) of Khoza Primary School, Matopo, Primerose Manheya (24) of 2906 Uve, Rusape, Danial Maringa (30) of 4616 Kuwadzana 6, Harare, Felix Nkosi (47) of 4042 Magwegwe North, Byo, Mathemba Simbanda (34) of Stand 17 Portbery, Harare, Edgur Kubere (30) of Chitungwiza, Harare, Thamsanga Sibanda (30) of 14890 Nkulumane, Bulawayo, Meno Pouline Mahara (22) of South Down, Chipinge and Lee Mathema (42) of Mbereko Village, Chief Mataga._ _Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Republic Police has arrested Brian Zaranyika (37) at the Beitbridge Border Post._ _The suspect was found processing fake border formalities to travellers for payment._ _Police have recovered fake Port Health, ZIMRA Manifest Control, ZIMRA Private Import counter and motor insurance date stamps, a laptop, printer, two booklets of commercial vehicle guarantee and temporary importation permits._ _Members of the public, including relatives of the escapees, are urged to report these potential COVID-19 super-spreader suspects to the National Complaints Desk number 0242 703631 or WhatsApp number 0712 800 197 and any nearest Police Station._ _The Police will ensure that the law takes its course on the suspects and anyone who puts the lives of citizens at risk._ *More: Pindula News* *Featured Products* *Follow our Pindula Channel on:* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v
