The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has appealed to members of the public for information that may lead to the location of an 11-year-old girl who went missing on Sunday.

In a statement on Tuesday evening, ZRP spokesperson Assitant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the girl, Ethel Nyoni, was last seen around 2 PM on 29 August in Harare’s Cranborne area. Said Nyathi:

> The Zimbabwe Republic Police is appealing for information that may lead to the location of a minor, Ethel Nyoni (11) who went missing on 29th August 2021 in Cranborne at 1400 hours.

> The minor left home claiming that she wanted to buy some jiggies. She did not come back. Ethel is a grade five student who was last seen wearing a yellow blouse, black leg in and black tennis shoes.
