Joshua Sacco the MP for Chimanimani East has given an update on Cyclone Chalane which made landfall in Zimbabwe yesterday and highlighted the following:

No lives have been lost so far
No injuries have been reported so far
There have been significant rainfall throughout Chimanimani
Less than 10 houses were partially destroyed by the cyclone
No serious incidences have been reported in Chimanimani

He expressed gratitude to the government for the level of preparedness he said he witnessed and the awareness campaigns and the evacuation that was done prior to the Cyclone making landfall in Zimbabwe.
