The development was confirmed by the ZACC chairperson Justice Loice Matanda-Moyo who told Zim Morning Post that the anti-graft body was moving to recover corruptly acquired wealth. Justice Matanda-Moyo said: > We are on a drive to recover stolen funds and we will be on the lookout for all properties owned by those accused of corruption. Tapfuma was arrested and tried for criminal abuse of office after he allegedly used his proximity to President Mnangagwa to import personal vehicles without paying duty and using government vehicles at his farm. Douglas Tapfuma was jailed for an effective four years after he was found guilty of criminal abuse of office during his tenure in the OPC.
