Regional Magistrate Bianca Makwande postponed the ruling of the state’s application to this Thursday and ordered the defense to produce Mamombe’s medical report for her ongoing treatment. Mamombe’s doctor previously told the court that the Harare West legislator had mental issues with her lawyers arguing that as a result of her health condition, she was not fit to stand trial. Two government doctors confirmed the report by Mamombe’s doctor and recommended that she be allowed to receive treatment.
