WhatsApp: 0️⃣7️⃣8️⃣3️⃣ 4️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ 7️⃣9️⃣3️⃣ ---------- According to the publication, the proposed pipeline will: > reduce the cost of transporting fuel to Zimbabwe and the regional hinterland from US$0,08 to US$0,03 using the pipelines and US$0,10 to US$0,06 using rail by 2025. Briefing the touring panel, NOIC Chair Engineer Daniel McKenzie Ncube said: > By 2022, we plan to redesign a new pipeline from the offloading port in Beira to Mabvuku with an expected capacity of 50 million litres per day, so we would like to invite you to be part of our plans, > We are putting in place mechanisms to ensure that we achieve this level of competitiveness by pipeline. You can see the high cost of transportation by road. There is nothing we can do about it However, in 2018, Joram Gumbo once said there is no need to build a second pipeline because the current one was not being fully utilized. The Feruka oil pipeline was built in the late 80s and it has the capacity to transport about 6 million liters of oil to Mabvuku in Harare.
