One Africa One pple! #ZimbabweLivesMatter There have been reports of arrest, abduction and torture of government critics including opposition activists and human rights defenders. Some of the notable individuals who have been arrested and or tortured are corruption whistleblower Hopewell Chin’ono and Jacob Ngarivhume of opposition Transform Zimbabwe who were arrested on the 20th of July. The duo’s arrest and continued detention has been described by some as the government’s crackdown on dissent. Government authorities, however, dismiss the allegations saying the duo and some more people were arrested for trying to dislodge a constitutionally established government. _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
