*FULL TEXT: ZimRights Members Report Chinamasa To Police 'For Inciting Violence'* *Follow Pindula on WhatsApp for daily new updates* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v?de > ZIMRIGHTS MEMBERS MAKE POLICE REPORTS AGAINST MR PATRICK CHINAMASA FOR INCITING VIOLENCE > Today [29 July 2020], peace-loving ZimRights members across the country flooded various police stations to make reports against Mr Patrick Chinamasa for inciting violence. > On 27 July 2020, Mr Chinamasa addressed a Press Conference at ZANU PF Headquarters where he called upon ZANU PF supporters to attack anti-corruption protestors. > ZimRights members say that these statements are a threat to peace in their communities and are an attack on the right to protest as enshrined in section 59 of the Constitution. > In reports that have been filed in Matebeleland North, Mashonaland West, East, Central and in Chitungwiza, ZimRights members state that Mr Chinamasa’s statements are a criminal offence in terms of section 187 of the Criminal Codification Act (incitement to violence). > They are therefore asking for the prosecution of Mr Chinamasa for this crime.
