His remarks come as the Ministry of Health and Child Care has reported that the country has in the past 24 hours recorded 139 coronavirus cases including three deaths. Zimbabwe now has a total of 926 cases. ---------- *HOT DEALS:* *itel A70 - (128GB, 3GB RAM) $89,* *itel A70 - (256GB, 4GB RAM) $99* *itel P40 (128GB, 4GB), (6000mAh) $99* *itel P40 (64GB, 4G), (6000mAh) $93* *LATEST: itel S24 (128) $124; S24 (256GB) $159* Cash on Delivery in Harare & Bulawayo. The development, however, coincides with the planned “#31July” and “#ZANUPFMustGo” protests that were called by an opposition leader, Jacob Ngarivhume to mark the second anniversary of the 2018 disputed election which ZANU PF in connivance with the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission allegedly stole. Critics say the government is likely tampering with coronavirus figures to find a scapegoat to put the two cities under total lockdown to prevent opposition protests. Previously, particularly on August 1, 2018, and January 2019, the government used sheer force in response to opposition protests killing many with dozen more left nursing button and gun wounds. On several occasions, the government blocked MDC demonstrations with police claiming the presence of concrete evidence to suggest that the protests would degenerate into chaos.
