WhatsApp: 0️⃣7️⃣8️⃣3️⃣ 4️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ 7️⃣9️⃣3️⃣ ---------- Speaking to NewsDay in an interview, Chizinga proposed ways through which president Mnangagwa can flatten the curve. He said: > President Emmerson Mnangagwa must bring people together; he must swallow his pride and engage MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa and other opposition political parties to have a collective disposition on the way forward for the country. He speaks when there are reports of intra-party squabbles in both the ruling ZANU PF and the opposition MDC which he said were consuming time meant for the interrogation of economic development issues. An impasse between the government and the opposition MDC Alliance has lingered despite president Mnangagwa’s initiation of the Political Actors Dialogue (POLAD) forum in 2019 which was premised at bringing to the table all presidential candidates in the 2018 election. MDC Alliance snubbed the forum saying it was a circus meant to legitimise Mnangagwa’s legitimacy.
