High Court judge, Tawanda Chitapi in his ruling said the Pambukanis were the rightful owners of the land and ordered Bvute to pay the cost of the lawsuit. What also remains unexplained is why Chigumba’s order was only executed upon or given effect on February 13, 2018 when the order had been granted on 29 October 2014, a period in excess of three years. Bvute and Crowhill Farm were claiming ownership of the land which the High Court reinstated to the Pambukanis after they filed an application at the High Court.
