*ZANU PF MP Requests That MPs Be Sent Abroad For Medical Treatment* https://www.pindula.co.zw/2020/06/07/zanu-pf-mp-requests-that-mps-be-sent-abroad-for-medical-treatment/?article A ZANU PF legislator for Murewa West MP Jonah Nyikadzino Sewera last week suggested that Members of Parliament be sent abroad for medical attention. Sewera alleged that some of the legislators were not well. Raising a matter of privilege with the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Tsitsi Gezi last week, Sewera said: _On a point of privilege, Madam Speaker, we have noted that MPs are not feeling well and some of them are not even coming to work because their medical aid is no longer functional._ _Is it not possible to work out something so that they can go outside the country to get treated as MPs?_ Responding to Sewera, however, Gezi observed that it was not feasible to implement such an arrangement due to lockdowns which were imposed on countries worldwide to curb the spread of the coronavirus. ---------- *Latest itel A70* - now available on Pindula 128GB storage, 8GB RAM *$89 Cash on Delivery.* _We deliver in Harare and Bulawayo everyday between 9am and 4pm_ also available on Zero Deposit to Civil Servants and Pensioners. This comes when members of the public have criticised government officials including Vice presidents, Constantino Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi for seeking medical attention abroad when “they are the people responsible for the collapse of the health sector in the country.” More: The Standard *Featured Products* *Follow our Pindula Channel on:* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v
