A statement issued by the party’s spokesperson, Fadzayi Mahere observed that the party consulted with its structures and constituencies and resolved that MPs and councillors are “to immediately resume their duties in Parliament subject to further review.” The statement further observed: > Any persons who were deployed by the party who did not comply with the Standing Committee resolution to suspend participation in Parliament’s activities pending this resolution will be dealt with in accordance with the Constitution and due process. Others who attended Parliament include Tapiwa Mashakada, Amos Chibaya, Vincent Tsvangirai, Dorcas Sibanda and David Tekeshe.
