On Sunday ZRP reportedly arrested 1219 people countrywide for different offences related to defying restrictions set in place by the government to curb spreading COVID-19. The country is in its 8th week of the lockdown that started on 30 March. 56 COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Zimbabwe so far.
