The petition read in part: > The government of Zimbabwe has been involved in gross human rights offences. The United Nations documented 49 abductions. Out of 49 abductions since 2019, no arrests have been made. > The abductors who torture and sexually abuse are still at large. The State, through their secretary Mangwana, claims abductions are fake without any evidence. This comes after three MDC Alliance youth leaders – Harare West MP Joanna Mamombe, Cecilia Chimbiri and Netsai Marova were allegedly seized from a police station by armed gunmen, tortured and s_xually abused for 48 hours last week. Mangwana took to microblogging site Twitter to dismiss the alleged abduction as stage-managed and a diversionary tactic. *More: Daily News* _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
