This comes amid reports that some Zimbabweans in South Africa have reached out to the Zimbabwean Embassy in that country requesting to be repatriated to Zimbabwe as the lockdown is making it hard for them to stay in South Africa. ---------- *HOT DEALS:* *itel A70 - (128GB, 3GB RAM) $89,* *itel A70 - (256GB, 4GB RAM) $99* *itel P40 (128GB, 4GB), (6000mAh) $99* *itel P40 (64GB, 4G), (6000mAh) $93* *LATEST: itel S24 (128) $124; S24 (256GB) $159* Cash on Delivery in Harare & Bulawayo. Read the statement in part: > The generality of the Zimbabwean migrant group earns income from domestic work, the services industry like restaurants and garages, the construction industry as well as vending among other low paying and hand to mouth form of work. > The Zimbabwe Community in South Africa hereby extends a begging hand on behalf of many such families who cannot manage to earn an income during this very necessary lock-down period. Mkwananzi appealed for food parcels or vouchers adding that the list of those genuinely seeking food aid keeps growing. The government of Zimbabwe is reportedly arranging for the repatriation of Zimbabweans who are willing to come back during the lockdown.
