Gogo Magrette Maphosa (67) of Mkoba 13 Gweru told The Herald that it was no secret that she was a Zanu PF supporter adding that she would remain a member of the church and would serve the suspension with no regret. Gogo Maphosa also said that she has since appeared before a disciplinary committee held by church elders, where she was banned from putting on the church regalia during the time of suspension. The suspension was confirmed by a Methodist Church elder, Mr Masvinure who said that the church was apolitical therefore Gogo Maphosa’s actions were misplaced.
