Please contact the airline to book. And if you haven’t reached out to us yet, please do: ukinfo.harare@fco.gov.uk She recently urged all UK citizens who were visiting Zimbabwe to return to the UK. The advisory followed the death of Zororo Makamba a 30-year-old Zimbabwean journalist who succumbed to coronavirus. Makamba’s family then exposed Zimbabwe’s ill-preparedness to fight the deadly pandemic. Although the advisory did not state the reason why the UK citizens were being implored to go back home, it is understood that it was triggered by the outbreak of the virus. Zimbabwe has according to official statistics registered 8 cases and 1 death of coronavirus and the country is on a 21-day lockdown which is premised at stopping the spread of the virus.
