*Prominent Victoria Falls Businessman Dies In "Mysterious" Car Accident*

A prominent Victoria Falls businessman, Tichaona Gregory Madzivanzira, died on the spot while two passengers were seriously injured after he lost control of his Range Rover which veered off the road and hit a tree near St Mary’s in Hwange.

The accident was confirmed by police spokesperson for Matabeleland North Chief Inspector Siphiwe Makonese who also revealed that two passengers who were in the car, believed to be Madzivanzira’s nephews, were seriously injured and are admitted to Hwange Colliery Hospital.

New Zimbabwe reports that some are saying the businessman who operated some businesses trading under the name ‘Busi’ in Victoria Falls lost control of the vehicle after seeing some strange vision on the road on Friday morning.

Meanwhile, Hwange West MP Godfrey Dube (MDC Alliance) warned residents against peddling untruths on social media. He said:

_Our roads are so bad that once you start your car it’s like you have given yourself a death sentence…_

_People are posting that the deceased saw something while driving, no one knows what happened besides the deceased so let’s not talk about things we don’t know about._

The accident comes amid calls for Government to urgently attend to the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls highway which motorists say is now a death trap.
