The distance between Harare and Banket is about 93.8km which is approximately 60 miles and some believe that he could have used his motorcade instead of a helicopter. ---------- *HOT DEALS:* *itel A70 - (128GB, 3GB RAM) $89,* *itel A70 - (256GB, 4GB RAM) $99* *itel P40 (128GB, 4GB), (6000mAh) $99* *itel P40 (64GB, 4G), (6000mAh) $93* *LATEST: itel S24 (128) $124; S24 (256GB) $159* Cash on Delivery in Harare & Bulawayo. Magaisa posted on Twitter and said: > Yesterday, Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa took a helicopter ride on a 60 mile trip to Banket where he performed his monthly street cleaning show for the cameras. A long motorcade was waiting to serve him in the small town. He doesn’t get it. He won’t & he can’t. Mnangagwa was last year criticised for his “fancy” lifestyle. He was allegedly hiring a private jet from the United Arab Emirates even for trips as close as Mozambique and Botswana when the country is bankrupt. Many believe the president is reckless and selfish after his administration introduced austerity measures which are causing severe pain to the general populace.
