Prosecutor George Manokore told the court that the accused, and Muvandi who is still at large, allegedly manufactured receipts purporting, a cleaning company – Maids on Wheels – rendered cleaning services for $306 135. They allegedly sourced five fake invoices with a total value of $306 135 and originated minutes dated June 19, 2019. The invoices were addressed to the finance and human resources director, Muvandi, who is the owner and signatory to the Maids on Wheels bank account. According to NewsDay, a probe disclosed that no requisition was raised by the procurement management unit for cleaning services and there was no tender awarded to Maids on Wheels. *More: NewsDay* _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
