Former Advisor to President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa has distanced himself from a Twitter handle which recently invited opposition MDC leader, advocate Nelson Chamisa to a dialogue with President Mnangagwa on an equal basis.

Speaking last Friday, Mutsvangwa said that G40 was behind the creation of the “ghost account”. He said:

_The moribund and forgotten G40s are now in the grip of schizophrenia._

_… Jonathan Moyo cannot escape the trauma of his nemesis, the war veterans of the liberation struggle. His social media foray is to don the garb of their chairman Chris Mutsvangwa. He is craving for lost Internet readership._

_After all, his postings are now rubbished as spam. The only way is to create a fake Twitter account in the name of Mutsvangwa_

His remarks come after the twitter handle had posted saying:

This is not Mutsvangwa’s first time to disown a twitter account after he also denying knowing another one in 2019.
