FC Platinum assistant coach Lizwe Sweswe has admitted that it is now a herculean task for his club to qualify for the knockout stages of the CAF Champions League.

Sweswe made the remarks following his club’s 1-1 with Egyptian giants Al Ahly at Barbourfields Stadium on Saturday. He said:

_It’s now tough because we wanted the three points so that we could stay in the competition._

_I am happy about the improvement of the team compared to the previous games that we played against these three teams._

_At least we have some positives and we take those as we look forward to the coming games._

The Zimbabwean champions lost their first three Group B and are now on 1 point while Sahel are on 9 points, Al Ahly on 7, and Al Hilal on 6 points after 4 games.
