Newly-crowned 2019 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Soccer Star of the Year, Joel “Josta” Ngodzo received $12 000 as prize money.

Ngodzo expressed gratitude to his Caps United teammates, club president and the supporters. He said:

_I want to thank Caps United ( for treating me good after I had left Highlanders)._

_This trophy is for my teammates (because their contribution has made me win this award)._

_I was not working alone. And I want to thank our coaches, supporters and the president of the team._
