A model-based in Masvingo has decided to help out 6 children at Masvingo General hospital with food, clothes, blankets and money as part of her charitable work campaign Sunday News reports.

Gwendoline Chikambi, Masvingo’s, Miss Ruby has urged the public to rally behind her and support her as she tries to garner resources to support 6 children that have been dumped by their parents at Masvingo General Hospital.

Speaking to the publication, the beauty queen said:

> As Miss Ruby I am obliged to have some charity work in the local community, and I have realised that most people focus on orphanages and old people’s homes. My charity work will focus on six children who are at the Masvingo General Hospital. These kids have been dumped by their parents and they really need the community to take care of them since they do not have families.

Chikambi who is an HR student at GZU was crowned Miss Ruby in 2019 and has won 3 other titles before that.
