*115 Elephants Die At Hwange National Park Due To The Prevailing Drought - Report* *Follow Pindula on WhatsApp for daily new updates* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v?bm A total of 115 elephants have died at Hwange National park due to the prevailing drought the Chronicle reports. This was revealed by Zim Parks spokesperson who said elephants needed a lot of water and they were trying to provide for them but it is a costly process. > A single elephant needs about 600 to 650 litres of water to drink and an average of 400 kilogrammes of food daily. We are experiencing the worst drought since 1981 and there is no more food for them in the park, and water can be scarce. This is one of the things that is escalating human-wildlife conflict as animals are now moving to communal areas in search of food. Hwange is the biggest National Park in the country. Heavy rains have however been predicted in most parts of the country and they are expected to end the drought ---------- *HOT DEALS:* *itel A70 - (128GB, 3GB RAM) $89,* *itel A70 - (256GB, 4GB RAM) $99* *itel P40 (128GB, 4GB), (6000mAh) $99* *itel P40 (64GB, 4G), (6000mAh) $93* *LATEST: itel S24 (128) $124; S24 (256GB) $159* Cash on Delivery in Harare & Bulawayo.
