Morland added that the company has a contract to supply fertiliser under the Presidential Input Scheme and not Command Agriculture. The remarks come after Tendai Biti, the chair of the Parliament Public Accounts Committee in August accused Treasury of paying US$400 million to the company with no known address or contact person. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe is facing severe starvation following a poor farming season amid reports that about US$5 billion was disbursed towards Command Agriculture.
